9. Remember, you don’t have to copy the music to the new computer now.

10. You need to download and install iTunes on your new PC 

11. Now launch iTunes and repeat the steps numbered from 2-5 above 

12. Now close the iTunes

13. Once again, you have to open the Music folder on the new PC

14. Here you will be able to see an iTunes folder, now double click it

15. Now, go for downloading and installing iTunes on the computer that is new

16. Here you will either see an iTunes Music or iTunes Media folder. Don’t go after the name as the name is irrelevant. 

17. Here you have to click once on the folder and then delete it

18. Next you have to connect your backup hard drive to the new computer and then navigate to the My Music folder before you open it. 

19. Select all the content available in the My Music Folder by pressing “Ctrl + A” keys on the keyboard

20. Now drag all the selected files to the Music folder on the new PC

21. Now click “Yes” if you are asked to overwrite any existing files with the identical name

22. Finally, close the opened windows
